Are movies such high resolution because that is all that is available. I’ve stopped downloading a lot of stuff here because 1920×1080 is too high for my powerless computer and downloading HUGE files doesn’t excite me either. Used to be a time you could get 1-2gb movies with acceptable resolution. Now they’re all 4-6gb. Is that what most people want?
